Kaj Falls, Jiu Jiujitsu
I've been learning Brazilian Jiu-jitsu with Kaj and I love it! He is so patient with me and takes the time to explain the correct mechanics of each move in a way I can understand. For a sport that requires a lot of up close and personal interaction, I always feel safe and know that Kaj is vigilant in watching out for us in order to prevent injury. Never having tried any type of martial art before, I was extremely nervous but I'm so glad I found this class and feel more confident every day!
I have been learning and training in exercise and the martial arts for 16 years, along with attaining a four-year degree in exercise science. Starting with Kung Fu at age 15, the learning process has never stopped. Group exercise, yoga, Kung Fu, kickboxing, Judo and Brazilian Jiu-jitsu have all been a constant part of the journey. I strive for constant betterment and thorough detailed instruction to help make each movement, exercise and technique to be as effective as possible. My goal is to provide each person with not just a workout, but knowledge they can use for the rest of their life.
