Charlie Pratt, Master Trainer
I have attended gyms for most of my life, but at some point I had to acknowledge to myself I was not getting the results I wanted. Charlie changed that for me. I quickly learned I was not working out with the right intensity, form, and frequency to get the results I wanted. Charlie also makes it fun to come to the gym. I always look forward to our sessions! Charlie has really opened my eyes to what good nutrition is. I took me shopping and has cooked with me. It has been nothing short of life changing. I feel good again!
Starting from a very young age, I developed a strong interest in sports. I played baseball, soccer, basketball, football, wrestling, golf and above all, racquetball. It was racquetball that was my best sport. At age 10, I was a Junior National and World champion. After college I played seven years of professional racquetball and reached a rank of #8 in the world. I am currently #17 and continue to compete as much as possible. My path to personal training was very natural as I have spent close to 17 years in the gym, training at a high level for many sports, with many trainers from different backgrounds. I love learning new workouts and movements to better myself as a trainer. My ultimate goal is to send my clients home after a workout feeling great and wanting more. While competing at the professional level, I studied nutrition to better my performance. I started eating a plant-based diet at the beginning of 2016 and received my Plant-Based Nutrition Certification from Cornell University from Professor T. Colin Campbell. Nutrition is vitally important to health and performance. Never underestimate the power of a good diet!

WHAT KEEPS ME HAPPY AND POSITIVE
Not to sound cliche, but working out makes me happy. As long as I get my workout in my day is good! I also love teaching people to regain their health through plant-based nutrition. It's a great feeling to help someone be active and feel good again!
