I have been attending gyms myself for 8 years and have had mediocre results. A friend of mine saw the Unsupersize Me movie and told me about it and that Zen Fitness was right here in Gainesville. As soon as I walked into Zen I knew it was the place for me. It is definitely the coolest gym I have ever been in! They paired me up with Tanner and I have had the best results since I started this journey to regain my health and look good again. Tanner fixed a few things in my diet and really maximizes my time in the gym. I always leave knowing I did more than I would have on my own. I've lost 37 lbs and 4 inches off my waist. And most importantly, I feel healthy again.
I like to be prepared, well-rounded, and efficient, but barebones backed with facts at the same time. I like to know the best, simplest ways to get things done. Combine that with the influence of video games I love, where you have to run, jump, fight, and climb through them, and you get my passion for fitness. That’s why I started working out, and lifting weights, so I’d be ready for a multitude of possible obstacles in life. Maybe I don’t need to run five miles or push 200 pounds, but if I do I want to be able to. Which is all why I earned my ACSM Personal Trainer certification, so I’m able to help guide others along to their own terms of preparedness.

MY FAVORITE RECIPE
Fried rice, it’s simple and delicious. Dice up onions, and any kind of vegetables you like. Cook the rice up, then toss your veggies in the pan for a bit with a hint of oil. Pop your rice in the pan, then get generous with the soy sauce. Let that sizzle while you stir, and soon you’ve got a beautiful thing.

Beating all my friends in arm wrestling, in a competition we had. When I won I told them all to
“get a grip.” Highlight of my career.
WHAT KEEPS ME HAPPY
Progress, in a forward direction. My girlfriend, and the close friends I keep. Also yoga or a good stretch. Baffling how well a nice session of yoga can make you feel.
