We know you can find personal trainers at any health club facility, many of whom are very qualified, however, we offer some things you won’t find at a regular health club facility or gym. Not only that, our Trainers are highly qualified, nationally certified by recognized certification organizations, and above all, enthusiastic and dedicated to getting results for their clients. Here’s what you can expect from us:

Accountability

Exercise really doesn’t work if you do it once in a while. A consistent schedule is every bit as important as the type and amount of exercise you do. Our Personal Trainers will hold you accountable and help you stay true to your goals.

Motivation

Staying motivated over time is difficult for most of us. There are those few people who have great self-discipline and motivation, but most of us need a little help to stay on track. Our Personal Trainers provide that extra motivation in three distinctive ways:

  1. They are your cheerleaders! They want you to succeed and they provide that extra energy and feedback that keeps you going.
  2. They know how to guide you through the right steps to reach your goals and they can do that faster than you ever could on your own. They have experience and knowledge that the average person doesn’t have when it comes to exercise and nutrition.
  3. When they are working with you, you have their full, undivided attention. They treat you as an individual with your own needs and goals, and they develop programs that fit for you.

Proper Form

If you’ve ever trained with a good Personal Trainer, than you’ve probably had the experience of having a trainer instruct you to adjust your stance, or maybe move your foot a little to the right, or some seemingly minor adjustment that created a completely different feel to an exercise with a much greater result. Trainers know that proper form is extremely important to getting results. You can do the same exercise ten times with bad form and not get near the results you get if you do it five times with proper form. A trainer can watch you and see where your form is off and when adjustments need to be made.

Variety of Exercise

There are usually many different exercises that can be used to work a single body part or muscle group. Too often, people use the same exercise routines over and over with the same few exercises. What happens is that the body gets used to using muscles a particular way so that less energy is used to perform the same exercise. Results are diminished over time. A Personal Trainer knows how to keep your body challenged by changing up exercises and routines in such a way that more fat is burned, and specific muscles groups are developed.

Privacy and Comfort

Zen Fitness is located in a beautiful, spaciously designed facility that includes State of the Art Precor Equipment. We schedule no more than four clients at a time, so there are no waits for equipment, no lines, or no one watching you (except your trainer) while you exercise. Our staff is always friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is positive, energized and enjoyable.
